About
Goldfinch Bolton (b. 1998, Terre Haute, IN) is a nonbinary artist based in Brooklyn NY working primarily in sculpture/installation works. Their work frequently explores the ideas of the unconscious boundaries surrounding artwork, what we consider living beings, and introspective tenderness, and occasionally addresses labor rights and environmental issues. Their work often incorporates found materials and textiles in a transformative synthesis to create surreal and living sculptures that allow viewers to reflect upon the human condition and the binding neutral miasma that all organic things share.
